The Town of Franklin Communty Events Committee

Mission Statement

Our goal is to foster a network of community organizations that work together to coordinate events and opportunities that will bring our neighbors together, growing community connections.

It is the vision of this committee to create a calendar of events that community members can particiate in annually, hopefully adding to the building of Franklin’s neighborhood.

The intention of this committee is to act as a conduit for organizatrions and to help promote events. It is not the intention of this committee to organize and host all community events. We encourage collaboration and creativity, while adhering to the values of Franklin, steeped in tradition and a heritage of being neighborly.

In keeping with this philosophy, this committee will promote only events that adjere to these guiding principles;

• Franklin Focused – Reflective of the values and past traditions of Franklin celebrations
• Promote Franklin businesses and organizations
• Family friendly
• Community focused
• No political affliations
• Chem free

We ask that volunteers and members be willing to participate in as many meetings as possible, and are encouraged to participate in the events when possible.
