Town Elections

Polls will be Open on Friday, March 28th
From 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the
Franklin Community Center – Meeting Room

On the Elections Ballot –

Selectboard Position – 3 year term
Dawn R. Carter, Incumbent

RSU #24 School Board Member – 3 year term
Roy Gott, Incumbent
Carla Jung, Opponent

On the Ordinance Ballot –
“Shall an ordinance entitled “Solar Facilities
Moratorium Ordinance” be enacted.” Yes or No

Please drive in the Enter side by the big VOTE signs. Drive to the back of the building, if it is busy a Traffic Controllers will tell you where and when to stop, then it will be okay to go into the building.

Our goal, as always, is to keep a steady movement of people and cars. With the flu and other air-borne illness, we are still practicing safety with only having 6 to 8 voters in the room at once. We have been using this method of traffic flow for the past five or so years and it seems to work very well.

If you need to register to vote, before March 28th, you may register at the Town Office. On March 28th, park in the Parking Lot and walk in. You must bring proof of residency and a photo id with you.

Absentee Ballot Requests to the Town Clerk must be made before the Closed of Business, March 26th.
Absentee Ballots must be in to the polls before the polls close at 7:00 pm, March 28th.
